Tune number 2 is title track from THP Orchestra's 3rd lp Good For You.
Hello, this is my first time around here and i'm really impressed with all the stuff people know, so I hope there is someone who can help me, i'm looking for two songs and I don't know the artists or titles, just some lyrics. They're both from the late seventies, my guess is 1978 because that's what most of the rest on the tape is.
The first one starts with, you're heading for the stairways i've seen it all before there's nothing new, in the chorus it goes Stop, stop tearing us apart and stop, stop tearing out my heart and it's sung by a woman.
Second one lyrics are mostly Coolwater, running down my back, such a sensation, got to be good to me.
Thanks in advance

Song #1 is "Stop" by Bob-a-rella (Italian group)
"Stop..you're tearing out my heart...without a word of reason it was so plain to see you'd lost that lovin' feelin'"
"Lost inside adorable illusion...."

Hey Miracombee,
I looked at my Bob-A-Rella record last night. It's self-titled, on Channel Records from NY (I thought it was an import); 1979.
The song they played at Troc in SF was "Spend The Night". (oooohh babe, won't you spend the night"). This and "Stop" are on side one. Side 2 has 3 tunes, "Tobacco Road" and Pink Floyd's "Money", among them.
Try Gemm to get a used copy of the record. I don't think "Stop" was on a 12".
Good luck.![]()

Thanks Markydefad,
With this info i'm gonna have a look here in Amsterdam in the secondhand recordshops, see if I can find it.
