Amnesty International appeals for a signature to help imprisoned gay man
Cameroon is without a doubt, one of the most homophobic countries on Earth. Although the death penalty does not apply there, harsh sentences are handed out to those that are gay or perceived to be gay. One man was arrested and jailed in the filthy Yaounde prison for THREE years for sending a text message to another man expressing his love. This is disgusting. Amnesty International are asking for signatures to go to President Paul Biya (a disgraceful dictator btw) in the hope of getting him, and others jailed for the "crime" of homosexuality released. Go to : 76crimes.com or http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http...2F&h=hAQEzsCtV It may not seem like it will make a difference, but perhaps it will. thanks so much.
