some of these are from early 80's but..

Doris D & The Pins - Shine Up

    Champagne - Rollerball

Anita Meyer - Why Tell Me Why - starts out slow, but builds into a real nice Disco song. And was a big hit in Netherlands too

Trust me. As far as I know, Bisquit is Dutch. The video was from a German TV program called "Musikladen", but I am 99.9% sure that the band that performed the song was Dutch.

You are correct about Dolly Dots, though. They had some good songs, too!

P.S., Are you sure that Ria was the lead singer? As far as I knew, the girls had fairly equal vocal duties, but maybe I need to listen to more of their songs.

Ria Brieffies and Angela Groothuizen were professional singers before they joined the Dolly Dots.

I like this Disco song from them the most:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rbjd3fczCFI 12 inch.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cTl9DbsoG9I live version from the Reunion Tour 2007, two years later Ria died.

sounds like Bisquit were big fans of Ottawan, Zoo Zoo sounds so much like Ottawan, in fact I think it was included on some Ottawan bootlegs

now singers Maggie MacNeal (Night Time) and Theo Vaness were both Dutch singers..... BUT their material was not produced by the Dutch I think. I know a lot of Theo Vaness's Disco output was French produced..

here is another Dutch Eurodisco from 1982.... more on a bubblegum side, from a model-slash-singer Vanessa. There is an actual video, but it's too cheesey, so here is the Maxi Single instead

    Vanessa - Upside Down

oh what the hell, here is the video too

this might fit here, not as funk sounding as Housband above, but more of a bubbly ABBA style

The Millionaires - Fantasy Island (English Version)

    Fantasy Island (Dutch Version)
