I am wondering what is this dance track from early 80's, female voice ?

A track with this title was a topic here a couple of weeks ago, I think. I have a record I never play by NY disco outfit, Image, called 'Holding On' from 1980. I'll find it and see if it fits the bill.

Unfortunately, there is a severe slowdown and I have made my host aware of the problem several times. To date they have done next to nothing to take care of it. Will be speaking with them again today. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

All from around that time:

UK Jazz Funk outfit Second Image had a club hit with "Can't keep holding on".

Shakatak had a single called "Holding on".

And Jonathan Butler did as well, also called "Holding on".

Also there was that Cargo song "Holding On for Your Love"--but that was a male vocal.

She was my first thought, also. But when I played it, she never says, "I keep holding on to you", so I didn't post.

I've learned that it's usually the more obvious song than the more obscure one...so I usually go for the obvious!!!! :lol:

Sometimes the lyrics need to be rearranged a little!!!???

Also there was the Angela Bofill track "Holdin' Out For Love"

"This time I'm holdin' out for love"....?????

I am sorry if my english can't be always accurate as we speak french around here, and some lyrics come from memory when I was a teenager. :oops:
