there must be some sorta go go ballad but i can't think of any at the moment.
The Doc Box song is pretty close though.

I don't know the song, but 'Don't Try To Use Me' by Trouble Funk is an excellent, fairly deep soul ballad which sounds nothing they normally do. It's in no way go-go, though.

Maybe something like Ralph Trevesent "Sensitivity" could be termed as this, if you really want to force a square peg into a round hole. It could only ever be a "ballad with a beat" though, as what makes Go Go is the drums. I don't know you example either.
