The original team that worked behind the scenes at the club during its heyday will re-create ‘70s nightlife glamour inside the legendary Studio 54 at 254 West 54th Street. Famed doorman Marc Benecke will once again be turning his discerning eye upon the cue. kinda hard to believe Marc Benecke would risk this now after his and Steve Rubell's "admission screening policies" were revealed on Vh1's "Behind the Music: Studio 54". Hopefully whomever shot at him in anger back then has moved on now. I think I'd pass, even if I were in New York. 10/18/2011

I think that slight was uncalled for. I'm sure the management of this board( as well as some members) would prefer you said nothing at all. When people post with information for our community, they don't expect to be met with a side swiping insult.

I walked by just a couple of hours ago and took some pictures to post to the board. I am in Studio 54 at least 2 or 3 times a year, as it is a Broadway Theatre. I get a thrill everytime I walk through the iconic doors or use the downstairs bathroom. When I have a seat in the balcony, I feel for something sticky underneath, close my eyes and think of Rod Stewart.

You could only get tickets if you are a subscriber to SiriusXM and entered a contest they had. So it will be meatloaf and television for me tonight.
