Working on remastering this tape most likely made in 1984 the song is mostly instrumental with the exception of a woman singing "The man's so real" before side A fades out. The song continues on side B and is solely instrumental. Here is a link with a snippet with the singing:

Could be "The Man's So Real" by Mimi...on youtube there's a radio mix of this cut, but the background vocals are the same as your sample

I found a mix that's very simial but not exact it's the Cruise mix. Yes it's definately Mimi on my sound bite .
