Lotsa "Get Down" songs...
Maybe....
"Get Down, Get Down (Get On The Floor)"- Joe Simon OR
"Get Down" - Gene Chandler?????
"Lost inside adorable illusion...."
Wow that was quick !!
It's not any of those two but hey thanks for the Gene chandler track !!
It's a famous sample used by early dj's back in the days of early hip hop.... the sample
'come on come on and get down ' then scratch the same bit over and over sorry I'm rubbish at explaining it .. I think it was on one of those essential breakbeat albums from late eighties ( lost it over the years ) Sure it featured on double dee and steinski mix which I have on vinyl , if thats any help
Maybe "Get down" from Raydio's first LP. I doubt this is the song you're looking for, but it's a great track nonetheless.
It don't mean a thing (if ain't got that swing)
That would be: Edwin Starr - "Easin' In" from the "Hell Up In Harlem" soundtrack (1974)Also need to know the original tune to ICE T High rollers ???
It's probably Vaughan Mason's 'Bounce, Rock, Skate, Roll' on Brunswick from 1979.
'Feel the beat, feel the body heeeaaat, come on, go on and get dowwwn'
