    Taka Boom

Now, I know the woman's voice from her many current house collabs and know she's Chaka's sister but...has anyone heard her 1979 (?) disco LP? I am stumped when it comes to finding mp3's so I thought I might actually buy a copy of the album to see....but I am not sure whether it's any good or what the best cuts are? Can anyone shine a light???

She has a decent voice but IMO none of her disco material is that great. Night Dancin is probably the best of an average bunch.
    Leather is the way forward!

Taka Boom was the FIERCE Lead singer on Norman Whitfield's CLASSIC "You + Me = Love" (When she sang with Undisputed Truth)....

That's a tad more than "a decent voice".

I think "Night dancin'" his her best shot. You can find it on 12" single too (Ariola PRO 7707 promo / Ariola AR 9010 general release)

Rumour has it that she got the name Taka Boom because of her husband. Apparantly he was a demolitions expert!!
