and was feeling a little sad that I'll never see and hear the duo perform again but then, while listening to some of Ray Simpson's solo material, it occured to me that he seems to sound quite a bit like Nick Ashford, especially on the songs Ashford and Simpson produced for him. Anyone else think so?
