This is something new for David and he's not lying about the prices. Hopefully SOUL ON DEMAND will be able to expand on the titles but even this short list has some nice stuff.

nicknack, that is such a cool idea... somebody cares out there!!! I would just love to get a copy of the Betty Davis CD's... I've been wondering what her music sounds like... I didn't have the pleasure of hearing them when I was young.

I think it would be so cool if Mercury records would re release their Ohio Players LP's on vinyl :D I'd be the first one to buy them... it is almost impossible to find their LP's SKIN TIGHT - FIRE - HONEY - ANGEL - CONTRADICTION in mint condition (i'm talking about the covers... not necessarily the vinyl inside...

Yes, it is THE David Nathan and you're right, K-Bee, the man is a class act. His Ambassador series is just awesome. I know he released his own CD just recently but I haven't heard anything about it. I think he has links on his site so you can have a listen.

Wow! I would like her cds also. I had three of her lps from '73, '74', '75. I lent them to a DJ friend of mine in 1978, I'm still waiting for him to return them!

She was one sexy, trashy, slutty, desireable diva. If you can imagine Tina Turner being more erotic, than you might be able to get a sense of what her music is like. Lyrics like "They say if I'm in love, I might just get picked up", or, "He was a big freak". Amazon has her but says the big three that I mentioned are out of stock. 8)

Had to revisit my Nasty Gal lp and she was a raunchy hard core funk bitch with a rock edge.

Speaking off the Ohio Player covers I have three of the LP's mentioned.All in excellent condition.Skintight,Fire and Honey and the inside of the Honey Lp is as erotic as they come.Just love it!
