SUMMIT POINT, WV - If you have a need for speed, there's a new thrill in West Virginia.
Karting, a new high speed thrill that gives people an experience of professional road racing at a fraction of the cost.
New at Summit Point Kart this season, located within Summit Point Raceway, there are karts that can run more than 70 miles per hour.
"We bumbled upon the idea with saying, well if we want to differentiate ourselves lets just go for the gold, go for the fastest that we can possible do," says Jens Scott, SPK General Manager.
The new RX-250's offer an exhilarating ride with its 28 horse power and 13,000 rpms, it's an experience that you'll find no other place else than at Summit Point Kart.
"Something to be said for being on the edge and drifting the cars through the corner as fast as you can with out losing any speed," explains Marc Flitcroft, kart racer. "The smell of tires, the sound of the tires, and the experience of having other people around you inches away is incredible."
