There was a track by High Caliber that used that sample.
Not sure what it was called though.
Sounded very like th Rhythm Masters type of production
This one's for the house connoisseurs.
I've just discovered Sister Sledge sweet scorcher "You Fooled Around" & I was thunderstruck, since it starred THE sample I've been trying to locate for years (the hook / intro). Now the only thing I have to do is to find the elusive filtered dizko house track that sampled it all those years ago. It is not Le Knight Club "Boogie Shell", this one is too recent, the one I'm thinking of has been released something like 7 yrs ago, it was a very simple (instrumental) pitching of the hook on endless loop, with a stronger bassline. There was also a remix that filtered it ad nauseam (there, not there, there, not there...)
I also heard another (more recent) version, this one more commercial, possibly with Jocelyn Brown vocals over it, sounded very Joey Negro or Milk & Sugar.
Can anybody help on the name of any one of these covers ?

I've got some High Caliber tracks but couldn't recognize the sample in any of them. I'll have 2 check on soulseek for more HCI DID find a track that sampled it (totally at random) by Intralazzi & Fratty called "The love", a mix of you fooled around (4 the music) & "You've got the love" by Candi Staton for the lyrics. Pretty good, really, very club-friendly.

while we're on this subject, for years I've been hearing a rockin' disco track built in its entirety on a sample from Chic's obscure "Soup For One". Any time I hear this song I'm in a club that only plays a short section of the song, but since I love "Soup For One" I recognize the sample instantly. Anyone know what song is built around this sample? Thanks in advance.
