The new "Studio 54" station is better than the old disco station. They play a lot more 12" versions and they play medleys.
I just happened to land on the SiriusXM website today, looking for something else, and look what greeted me on the landing page?

They've bagged BBC Radio 1 and will be replacing it with Studio 54 Radio beginning August 15th. John "Jellybean" Benitez will be exec-producing the channel (whatever that means), and Marc Benecke and others will be involved in some way.
Not sure it'll make me re-start my dead subscription, but interesting for those who might still subscribe.

I've only heard bits and pieces of this channel, but what I've heard their music choice has been surprisingly impressive. I expected it to be the usual Bee Gees/Village People-AM radio material, but so far I've heard tracks like Barbra Streisand's "Shake Me, Wake Me" (possibly the 12" version, but I haven't had a chance to check yet), Jimmy Ross' "Fall into a Trance," and the Diana Ross "No One Gets the Prize/The Boss" medley. The only thing I've heard that didn't seem to be an original version was a remix of Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons' "December '63 (Oh, What a Night)." All in all, pretty good stuff.
