    Ten Records - UK Label

Probably Brits, but anyone out there remember 10 Records from the mid 80s? I tend to store my vinyl by label and came across it tonight. Started by spinning the UK copy of Galveston Bay by Lonnie Hill. Classic is a word often over used, but not in this case. Please don't break my heart - The Affair feat Alyson was an Easy Street original in the US. Loved this one totally differently to Lonnie. Aurra's good late stuff came as well. "A whole lot more than a little bit, and a little bit more than a lot, like I like it, like I like it..." "Curt, five minutes...." But the crowning glory was a double 12" by 52nd Street. They were a kind of Manchester Loose Ends type group. I've spun the "jazz version" of I can't let you go, four times back to back. The album was released on cd a couple of years back, but this mix didn't appear on the bonus tracks.

I've kinda drifted again then. Started off spinning 10 Records vinyl. Had some drink! Decided 52nd Street were brilliant on 12".

Savage Progress "Heart Begin To Beat" Brilliant record...most jocks used it with "Neutron Dance" as the BPM could be counted as 100 or 200 BPM...a clever way to go from manic to sleaze in 1 record flawlessly.
