Chart Hit [Level 6]
The Skatt Brothers "Strange Spirits" album is a big favourite of mine...a mixture of disco, country rock and a whole lotta machismo...it was this rural boy's dreamdate back in the day! Alas, it would be years later that I'd realize the pitfalls of men with too much machismo...but anyway....
I just discovered the Skatts had a second album "Rico and the Ravens" but it was only released in Australia in 1981. It was recorded at Amber Studios in Toronto, engineered by George Semkiw (as was their first album) and produced by Willi Morrison and Ian Guenther (like their first album). Lead single was "Oh Those Girls" backed with "Heat of Passion". Has anyone heard the album? Is it similar to their first?

They did!!Wow; I always thought they did the one album and faded as quickly as they came about. I'd be curious to hear the second LP.
