Please help identify artist for song LA MER

hello,
i heard a cover of the song La Mer and would like to know who the artist might be. this is not the classic version, and i realize that it's been done by many many artists. the one i heard is sung in french, male vocalist (not Charles Trenet), and it has a distinctly disco groove beat to it. unfortunately, i don't have a sound clip of it. i tried to identify it while it was playing with the app Shazam, but no luck. hopefully somebody here might know.

There's a disco version -meaning 70's style with strings etc - By Judith, made in 1977. But yes, it's sung by a female voice. The Vince Aletti book does mention another version but I'll be damned if i can find it from there now. Wasit 75 or 76? You got your copy haven't you, the info is in there somewhere, just do some digging! :-)

thanks Andy, this could be it. i could easily have mistaken the voice for male, but i really can't remember now. this is one hard record to find!
