    Just wanted to mention the passing of this true diva. I just loved her music, personality and aura.

    Ever since I can remember, Celia's music was part of our household. I danced a lot to her tunes. She was truly unique. Spanish television (Univision) has been re-running her appearances on their talk shows all day.

    Energy was part of her character I truly loved and will miss.
    I'm surprised you missed this sad news. Perhaps its time to switch from faux news to NPR

    these news about CELIA CRUZ are VERY sad :cry: .

    Celia was simply wonderful, a true legendary singer - and I'm talking about a legend built on talent, not on marketing or media gimmicks. She was a force of nature and will be missed for sure. And I'm KICKIN' myself right now because she did a concert here in my city with TITO PUENTE a few years ago and I didn't attend because I thought the tickets were "expensive". STUPID zeca azevedo, now they're gone and I will never have another chance to see these 2 legendary latin artists doing their magic on stage. Here's a lesson I will not forget.

    One more word for you: : ˇAzúcar!
