Dear all,
I would love to pick your brains for releases that feature some epic choirs, preferably female. Some examples would be Jimmy Roma - "Beyond The Galaxy", Donna Summer's "Now I Need You", and Constandinos' "A Theme For Columbia". Open to suggestions on the more obscure side, too, in the vein of Witchcraft's "Symphony For A New World" or Crazy Boom Sisters - "Take Of '77". Also, not too religious-y :)
Many thanks.
Sphynx (Alec) - "Judas Iscariot" / "Simon Peter" (the same choir as on "Columbia" - 'The Ambrosian Singers')
Roberta Kelly's "Gettin' The Spirit" LP (by the end of side 1, Roberta & Esty, take-you-to-Church)
Vicki Sue Robinson - "Should I Stay / I Won't Let You Go" (The New York Community Choir)
Donna Summer - "State Of Independence" (there was a brief release, with the accapella as the b2 cut<---incredible!)
"MUSIC IS AN EMOTION, SEARCHING FOR IT'S VOICE"
...come with me, "BACK TO MUSIC", on DISCOTERIA

Space – Deliverance
What about 'Now I Need You' by Donna Summer? It has quite a choral sound.
...ya gotta beat the street......
The Writers - Star Black
Well initially I named the Vicki Sue Robinson track that Stephen mentioned and this one titled "Choir Practice' by Lipps Inc (deleted it because I thought it might be considered "too churchy"--even though it really has no "Jesus" lyrics--in fact nothing but "oooh's" and 'hey yow's ")
"Lost inside adorable illusion...."
Madleen seemed to have more than a few back-up singers beefing up her vocals. A Choir In Your Heart?
"Because there's music in the air."
wouldn't many of Sylvester's songs backed by the Two Tons fit the bill?
