Bounce NYC Gets DEEP. Deep & Soulful all night! And we got the guests to do it. We honored to have our special guests, Perez Massimo (918 Liberation) & Armand Green (Mojito Jones / NJ).

Perez Massimo’s journey started 23 years ago, growing up in a musical household, where he was exposed to the music of Fania, Motown, and Salsoul records at early age, you can say that the love of music was inculcated into him since he was a child. In 1988, at 14 years of age, he would be exposed to the wizardry of David Morales on the decks and months later, after hearing “Little Louie” Vega spin at Studio 54, his life would never be the same. Perez was blessed to have been exposed to masters of the craft, such as “Little Louie” Vega, David Morales, Junior Vazquez, Todd Terry and Timmy Regisford, at an early age, shaping him into the selector he is today. He has had the opportunity of sharing the decks with champion turntablists DJ Shiftee and Boogie Blind at NYC’s 675 Bar, House music and Ocha Records stalwart Ez El, DJ's and producers such as Duce Martinez. Oscar P and Davidson Ospina at NYC’s longstanding “I’ll House You” parties and soul sisters of the decks: DJ Reborn and Kamala Jefferson. Hustlin’ hard in NYC, it is a treat to welcome Perez Massimo to Bounce NYC to bring the DEEP!

Armand Green’s style sprouted from a deep appreciation of a wide variety music, pure curiosity, and natural talent. It wasn’t long before playing music for crowds, became a passion. Since his exposure to the more Soulful side of Underground Dance Music, in the mid 90’s, that style has dominated much of this passion ever since. His sets seemlessly drift across a wide variety of soulful sounds both instrumental and vocal, all with one main goal’ – “making you FEEL IT”. One look at him while he’s on deck will show, he’s feeling it with you! From the hypnotic rhythm of an Afro-Cuban drum, deep electronic rhythms, the warm strum of a guitar, soul moving vocals, to the complex chord changes of a Jazz tune, Armand Green strives to incorporate all into whatever musical texture he weaves. A texture that is sure to envelop your soul. Currently, a member of collective “Mojito Jones” with fine artist/dj Kortez and Dj Joaquin Morales. (MoJo), he has been puttin it down for the NJ house sound and we bringin’ him to NYC so you can get live on the dancefloor.
