L.P. autographed by a disco artist

A sleeve autographed by a disco artist is almost impossible. I guess. Have you some ???

BTW, I have the L.P. called "High Energy" by La Bionda and it was autographed by two men, Michelangelo La Bionda and Carmelo La Bionda: "To our great friend (it's not me) with very very fellow-feeling and reconnaissance ! Michelangelo La Bionda/Carmelo La Bionda 21-1-80".

I believe I only have two Disco records signed by the artists, members and/or producers.

    1. La Flavour LP signed by all the members of the group after I interviewed them in '96-97. They told me it was the only one they ever signed that way.

    2. Montana's "Heavy Vibes" (Italian comp) LP where Vince thanks me for contributing to the liner notes.

My most prized posession is an autographed copy of "Once Upon A Time" by Donna Summer. She arrived at Peaches (the major record retailer at the time) in Spring of 1978. It was a very warm Atlanta day, and she emerged from a limo wearing a full-length mink coat. She stood behind the counter and signed autographs for a couple of hours. There was a huge turn-out and security was all around. She signed my LP, "To Kieth, Love, Donna Summer". I didn't even mind that she misspelled my name (should have been 'Keith').

I'm lucky enough to have Ray Martinez signature on my "Lady of The Night" 12" and Cerrone's on "Angelina: Cerrone V". There's probably others but I won't know until data entry becomes my second hobby. Gotta do the database deal.

I know I have a signature on a white label of Musique's "In The Bush" but I'm pretty sure it wasn't to me. Thinking it belongs to Kenny Morgan, a dj who was also helping Judy Weinstein get those records distributed at For The Record.

i met laurin reinder at his art showin in los angeles and he sighned most of my collection of solo and el coco lp's.including the 12" to envy/lust.what i take he was little demanding in the studio.but also he was running avi records while writting material for other artist.laurin is still is the hardest working man.he was a teacher at ucla and has a business in landscaping.not to mention his photograghy painting.he was also a close of barry white.he told me a story about the day laurin and michael used it's exstacy when you lay next to me, to make le spank.

The word evokes not just a type of music or a kind of dance or even a style of dress.It\'s also a new social order of black and white, gay and straight, rich and poor, all hot, sweaty and, most likely, high, together.

I have LPs autographed by Sharon Redd (she was so funny & sweet), Melba Moore (back when she was popular), Claudja Barry (she visited us at Aloha Records), Pattie Brooks, Randy Crawford (Poor thing, back when Raw Silk came out, she visited Gramophone Records in SF. Nobody showed up until I came breezing by for my weekly visit. My friends at the store begged me to purchase her LPs and get her autograph. I'm glad I did!), Brooklyn Dreams (Before what's his name married Donna Summer. I could have sworn they were gay!), Paul Parker (Mark and I mentioned before that he visited Aloha to do a quick autograph session), Marlena Shaw (another sweetheart) and I think Eartha Kitt (you could tell how old she was by her hands!). I think I also have Grace Jones but I'll have to check.

    Hi,

I don't have any LPs autographed, only CDs. Who signed my CDs? WILSON PICKETT, ISAAC HAYES, GEORGE CLINTON (PARLIAMENT/FUNKADELIC, you know) and some favorite brazilian artists...

    Peace,

One of my most precious possesions, is a photo and letter from Vicki Sue Robinson.
I think she was such a terribly underrated artist, and I was lucky enough to call her my friend..
    A true wonder..

    Signature on a LP

My prized possession was an autographed copy of Gwen Guthrie's Padlock EP mixed by Larry Levan. Larry Levan signed this copy as I was purchasing this EP on 4/19/85 @ Vinyl Mania Records in New York City.
