An absolute shot in the dark but it sounds like an extended intro to the song that goes something like: "Are you ready or not, its only up the street. Everybody's dancing, everybody's on their feet . . ."

Sorry, the name of the group escapes me -- I'll have to check my storage.

The song you're thinking of is BB&Q's "On The Beat", but I have no idea if this is the song in the sample. I've heard a few different mixes of "On The Beat", but not one that begins like this.

thanks but i don't think it's "On The Beat", or any remix of it... there's hardly any similarity.

the whole clip i have goes on 3 minutes basically repeating what you heard.. with some guitar solos and synth riffs.. so it's not an intro, but perhaps an instrumental version..

Artist/titel is Louis-Magic dance.It is the b-side witch is called
Pink path,and it is the instrumental version of magic dance.
It was released in 1984 on Blow up records.
