With vinyl records increasing in availability many old 12 inch single tracks are been made some are made to look like the originals some are plain is this a good thing or bad thing. Especially when you cannot get the original 12 inch of a certain track, by something which was not airplayed at all, or hardly at all. Are the reissues worth buying ,or is it better to try to find the original 12 inch made back in the day. I have bought mostly original 12 inch singles over the years but of late some tracks from the 70s and 80s are been made and i dont want to wait a life time waiting for an original copy to turn up if it ever does of some of the rare obscure Disco and Club stuff which is so hard to find.I
do find that vinyl now in some cases is expensive on the 12 inch format, some 12 inch singles in the UK new are £13.99 is this just my opinion or should i be just greatful vinyl records are available again when reissued so we can at least get a copy of a rareity and enjoy the music so to speak. the chepest i have payed is £4.99 for a 12 inch single but it puzzles me whay some are more expensive to obtain than others.
