    Hail To The Teeth

...by District Of Columba? I've been intrigued by this obscure Salsoul 12" since I received a scan of the label 2 months ago. Yet to find anyone who even knows it, though one chap says he has it somewhere. All I've found out about it so far is that there's a Jimmy Carter reference (there's an LP under his name called 'Hail To The Teeth' also) but I'd like to know if anybody has it, or simply knows what it sounds like...

I have it on a compilatrion, "Hail To The Teeth" by District Of Columbia (lyrics: Steven Gales & Nigel Redman). Basicly is a guy (I don't know who is he) talking about the members of his disco band (he is just the leader or the president of his disco band). Curiously this song is from Salsoul Records. But it doesn't have melody, that's the problem. It will keep on being obscure...

...Well, that's something at least - maybe I won't add it to the 'looking for' list after all... :o
What would you do without your muesli...where would you be without a bowl?

Each of the members of the band plays his instrument one by one and the guy (the presidente of the band) says how this type of sound is good. It's a musical demonstration with the Salsoul Orchestra's musicians ! I personally don't like it but only listening to it you'll know the true :) .
