Browsing video channels sometimes makes you discover rare footage from the golden age of Disco. Let's post 'em in this thread.
What we do not look for here are videos with just covers or label pics but actual rare footage of performances, Discotheques, Record Stores or whatever is related to the most wonderful time of our lives. To give you an example:
In other words, we are looking for those things we haven't seen much and that are now re-appearing in the digital world!

And a Swiss Kiss from Patrick Juvet:
Yes, very good one and I'm also looking for stuff like this. Get the picture? This thread should breathe the Disco atmosphere, a video time capsule. So, no pics or favourite songs, only vintage footage please.
CELI BEE AND THE BUZZY BUNCH:Fly Me On The Wings Of Love..when I die, if I go to heaven, I want it to be at this disco!
Poor quality but amazing that there is a video of this, the girls are super excited!
and finally, one of my current favourite discoveries...Goody Goody "Number One DeeJay"...wait for the creepy comment from the host at the end!

Did you know The Raes had a television show????
They sing A Little Lovin' at the end.
even though it'is heavily edited and bad quality with different audio that Celi bee video is awesome, that show "Kicks" was great, they featured a bunch of dancers that rivaled those of Soul Train, great to see Celi bee doing the bump and a few Bus Stop steps.
it's a miracle this video survives to this day at all, for sure it has to be a Betamax recording transfer, as VHS was not around yet, I know 'cause I used to tape all of 'Kicks' shows on Betamax, unfortunately these tapes never survived the transition to VHS much less to Digital..

Baby, take me
high upon a hillside
high up where the stallion
meets the sun
Just love this performance from the Boss's '79 Vegas show; what a decade the 70s was for Diana, starting with ANMHE, ending with The Boss & Love Hangover in the middle!
...ya gotta beat the street......
Michel Polnareff + Studio 54
Very rare footage from the legendary Trinity Disco in Hamburg/Germany
New York - Times Square of the Late 70s
And this car spells D.I.S.C.O.
Someone has posted a series of various Dick Clark interviews on American Bandstand from 1978. I didn't miss many Saturday afternoons watching Bandstand in the '70s so these take me right back to those fascinating years...and watching them now, seeing these artists during their great moments in time, is really cool.
First up...Paul Jabara...
Donna Summer discussing her new movie "Thank God It's Friday"...
Foxy...
And Sylvester....
Dancin' helps relieve the pain, soothes your mind, makes you happy again

those Bandstand interviews should be a thread unto themselves.
Here's one for you. Carol Burnett's final show - the very last one . One of TV's most viewed events ever:
And here's what all those fortunate viewers unwittingly witnessed that night:
My tenth time watching it and I even moreso say:
WOW !!!!!!!!
now THAT's a grand finale!!

disco- its about dancing to it

What amazing choreography!

Can life be more beautiful than this?
Going back to when disco was rapidly growing, an enterprising journalist made this short film. I'd date it to sometime in 1976 not 1975. There's an interesting contrast between the clubs visited

Disco Lives !!!
Gotta Love the Retrojunk Website =)
In the late 70s I was a big fan of the Kenny Everett Video Show & always loved how his 'naughty bits' dance troup Hot Gossip often danced to fab disco tunes of the time like this:
