Please, No More Donna Summer Posts (for a while at least)

Personally I'm sick and tired of reading even more posts about Donna Summer. Can we get back to more invigorating topics than Top 5 Donna Summer/Donna or Sylvester/ Donna or Diana and the like.
Firstly the woman hijacks the top 500, now she's hijacked almost every bloody discussion of late. Yes, I know that this post is extending this, but its purpose is to get her out of our systems (for a while).
What is this fixation with her, eh?

We can't all agree with you, sorry! Don't blame her for a few guys who hacked the top 500list. I think the lady did something great to the dance scene of the 70's and we can't deny that. Now awaiting for her new release of Bad girls Deluxe edition, 3 weeks to wait. Oh goody goody ;-)

    D O N N A ! ! D O N N A ! ! 8)

What's wrong with Donna Summer? Sure, she's been mentioned a lot here lately, but "fixation" is the wrong word (at least for me). Many of us here happen to be fans of hers (myself included). What we really need is more posts about Andrea True.

PaulC: Do I get under your skin or something? I absolutely don't agree that telling you that I'm sick and tired of Donna Summer posts is being arrogant. Churlish, maybe but arrogant?
What if I said pretty please, would that help? :D

At least this has got the hardcore Donna fans outed. I can only imagine that honorary Donnadom will be bestowed upon me for instigating this truly wonderful service for them.

    Well,

I have some responsability on this DONNA thing with my evil topic "DIANA OR DONNA",

Here are other topics about DONNA that we can explore in the future  :

    DONNA OR QUINNY?

    DONNA OR (MA)DONNA?

TO BE OR NOT TO BE DONNA

IF DONNA SUMMER WERE A TREE, WHAT TREE...

IS DONNA DOING ANY MONEY WITH OUR DISCUSSIONS ABOUT HER HERE?

Love to love you babies

OMG so this is what happens when you don't visit the forums for 24 hours. it gets infected by some sort of donna virus.

However I might actually agree with quinny on this one.
Too much donna can get pretty sickening (even though these threads are some of the most hilarious ones i've read in quite a while)

KBee: Better late than never. Where were you in my hour of need?
BTW: It was this post that sparked all the Donna posts, not the other way around (just in case you're wondering). Some members saw the funny side, others got angry.

You missed one: How about Donna or Ronald Reagan?

I think that this subject should be tabled ie. all this Donna stuff and rehashed some time around next April Fool's Day.

    Rock on.

never ever too much Donna Summer

efunk_adelic wanted to know a Donna song with funk elements. Gee, how about "The Wanderer" or maybe "Cold Love"? If I was at home I would check my albums and I bet I could find some nonhits with funk, too. How about that "Mistaken Identity" album? OK, it is not so classic disco but it is not awful. Except for the blonde wig.
    But never enough Donna!
If Luther Vandross is still in a coma, someone please whisper "Donna Summer" in his ear; maybe he'd reply "Nevertoomuchnevertoomuchnevertoomuch..."
