Do You Know Italys Club Scene?

Just wanted to ask for some advice really. My brother and I are going to Italy in August to visit relatives, and would like to visit a few good clubs but don't know how to find out what's on where. Can anyone advise me of any websites that will inform us of house/funk/breaks/jazz fusion events in the country in August please (9-22)

? Or even better if you could suggest any clubs. Ideally we would like to get Carl (my brother) a slot DJing at a club whilst we're there, but we realise this could be a bit much to ask for(especially seeing as neither of us speak Italian - how lazy!!). We
will be staying in Venafro (our family's town) for a week and a half, and will be in Rome for a few days before we fly back home, but whilst we're there we will have a car and would not mind travelling far- as long as the music is good! I don't know Venafro :roll: but I saw on a map it is a small town in one of the most depressed regions of italy :cry: . Maybe your brother could become a star there !!!! :lol:
....just joking.
But, really, I don't think you'll find any good spot there. You better be prepared to travel, mostly to the rivieras where there are many good spots to enjoy music and dance.
In Rome you will find a lot of places but most of the Rome nightlife in summertime is on the streets of some areas of the city, with lots of disco bars, live concerts, music festivals and so on

Ineffablerecords.co.uk is back from Italy now, and planning a return visit to Melise next summer. Hopefully with gigs on the central coasts of Italy, as well as local events in the area.
