Nicky,
I think Zulema left Faith, Hope & Charity in 1971, before their big hits ( well, before "To Each His Own" anyway.) They (Brenda Hillard, Albert Bailey) were a duo for a few years and then added another singer (DianeDestry) in 1974.
I just got a shock and it really illustrates how I never read those record labels/jackets early on.
Am I the only idiot on the board who didn't know that Zulema was one of the original members of Faith, Hope & Charity? :o Christ in a side car... "To Each His Own", "You're My Peace of Mind", "Life Goes On", these are classics I had no idea she was a part of. Her solo efforts were so musically different I never would have connected her to this group. "Change" just doesn't bring F,H,&C to mind.
Put that big "L" on my forehead  .

"Lost inside adorable illusion...."
Well I'm not that familiar with her solo work Nicky but I can relate to not noticing these little details back then.
I guess we just had a lot of things going on!
Find them and destroy them!
Ahh, so if that's correct she was gone before big recognition hit. Would make me feel a little bit better. Oh, are you sure it's Albert or Alberta :P ?Originally Written by markydefad
OK, I just flew over to AMG and it IS Albert. So now I'm being whacked over the head that this group is two females and one male and not three women. What the f*&% is wrong with me? :x
