Cerrone ost film Brigade Mondaine/Victims of Vice

Yes, google a company called Bizarre Films and there it is on dvd. Finally, you'll get to "see" Cerrone's "Give Me Love", "Strip Tease", Don Ray's "Africanism" and "Cerrone's Paradise", and the imagery is just like you always imagined. Some 3 minutes of "Give Me Love" is playing over a scene of menage-a-trois between two leggy young fashion models and a hairy, forty-something man with a huge moustache, the action simulated but bordering on hardcore. Another model with a frizzy perm and nothing underneath a maxi mink coat enters a Rolls and gets driven to a drugs&sex party in a luxurious chateau. A stripper with a whip caresses a motorcycle on stage, performing to executive types drinking champagne. A pimp fondles a drugged model while a lesbian ice queen photographs the abuse. Naked dancers gyrate on podiums, ogled and caressed by rich degenerates.

The film itself is just okay, with a useless cop hero who never gets into any fights. There are several long build-ups to what promise to be heavy s/m situations, but nothing developes apart from one whiplash. Still, it's definitely worth watching for the semi-sleazy ambience, the 70's fashions of the haute couture kind, and the Cerrone-fuelled sex scenes. Now, let's wait patiently and maybe the company will let us have the 2 follow-ups, both with music by Cerrone.

Speaking of s/m and disco, check this strange snippet of music from 1969, made in my home turf of all places:

    Jussi

I have the LP's and I've always wondered what those films where like, now I must obtain them!
Do you have a link to the Bizarre Films site, when I Google it LOTS of sites come up, but no company.

The Kirka track is great! Did you choose the Tom Of Finland image to go with it...it's so fitting!

Yep, I chose the image. There's a big show of Tom of Finland stuff here at the moment to celebrate Turku (he was born nearby), one of the European capitals of culture 2011. A few voices are being raised in protest now that school teachers are bringing children to see the exhibit. Still, the city council absolutely refuses to put any age limit to the door.

Kudos to the City Council! Didn't you also DJ at a Tom of Finland Event earlier last year...or are you playing at this one...what an event that would be, and you the perfect Musical Maestro to accompany the art showing of Tom's work.

Why, thank you Mr Dj! I don't think there was a specific dance party for this one, though. Might have been, but nobody has been talking about it so I doubt it. But I did play during the opening ceremonies and the party afterwards of the previous T.O.F exhibit a few years back, held in a traditional museum space with white walls, tv crews, champagne, collectors of the drawings from all over the globe, well spotlighted fashionistas. The opening ceremonies did not end well - a weatherman from our national television and his mates got carried away with the spirit of the affair and staged what is known as "a golden shower" party in the restroom. After people started emerging aghast from the foyer area leaving footprints on the marble, someone informed the janitor of what was going on. End of music. The curator of the exhibit herself plus people from her her troops had to go and clean up the mess themselves after the staff bluntly refused. - The party afterwards went very well, with lots of Village People tracks, Skatt Bros, Easy Going etc, even though the mayor & other guests of honour were staring very surprised at the videos projected on the walls ( starring names like "Matt From Malibu").

That such an event would even be possible makes me want to move to Finland.
