Daytona Beach (Ormond), Florida The Other Place bar/club was located at the end of a strip shopping center, right next to a Goony Golf course right on A1A in Ormond Beach Florida.I first went in The Other Place was 1986. Had a blast. 2 rooms. One was the main bar room with dance floor in front of the stage. Usually rock and metal bands almost nightly. Lots of specials, free drinks, free t-shirt and mugs(with paid admission of course).Music videos were fantastic. If you wanted to shoot pool, that was there too in another room. Was fun. It turned to a gay bar early 2000 and it just lost all the great vibes it had originally after that. I believed it's all closed up. Spring break kept...
