Bond and Solange in Casino Royale

So I was watching Casino Royale starring Daniel Craig again. One scene that always catches my eye is the way Bond was making love to Solange. Maybe it's just me but while he was on top of her, he was looking at her like she is a new species. Then I wondered if he was gay.

Given the membership here, I figured if anyone knows (aside from Daniel) it would be you folks. So is he "that way"?

Paul, you've hit on one of my biggest fantasies here - I so wish Daniel Craig was a 'friend of Dorothy's' but I'm sure he's from your 'side of the duvet' so to speak! However, the first film I ever saw him in was in 'Love Is The Devil' where he played George Dyer who was the 'rough trade' lover of artist Francis Bacon. So he's very good at playing gay even if he isn't! Whatever his sexuality, he's one hell of a man! (& brilliant actor)

Thanks for chiming in Sandy. The way he was looking at Caterina Murino just had me wondering. So I guess you must have loved the scene in Casino Royale where he gets up at the beach to look at Solange. I liked that scene too. Caterina is one of the hottest bond women in many years.

Just slightly off topic. Seeing Giancarlo Giannini in Casino Royale, I had pull out "Swept Away" from 1976. Boy that was a movie that is too politically incorrect to be remade. Proof of that is Madonna's crappy version some 20 years after.
