My 12" of Boogie Nights clocks in at 4:49, at least according to the label.
I would like to know the 12" lengths (?:??) of the following:
"On The Beat" by the The Brooklyn, Bronx & Queens Band, "It Seems to Hang On" by Ashford & Simpson, "Hold Tight" by Change, "Boogie Nights" by heatwave, and "Do You Love What You Feel" by Rufus and Chaka Khan. Thank You!

Hi GroovinYou,
All of these are the U.S. 12" promotional versions:
Do You Love What You Feel - 6:40 MCA
Boogie Nights - 4:49 EPIC
On The Beat - 5:55 CAPITOL
It Seems To Hang On - 6:57 WARNER BROS
Hold Tight - 4:23 ATLANTIC
i could of swore there were 2 versions of on the beat.
the 5:50 and change one is the one we all know. but there was a second one that was a little less polished and more "live session" but still pretty good. that might be the one k bee is talking about.

Thanks everyone! Your help has been great. To the last reply, I have found the 7:02 version of "On The Beat," by BB&Q, on the CD album, 'I love Disco, Vol. 2.' Going to order it right away; ah an absolutly beautiful 12"! Thank you again.

Groovin',
about the 7:01 version of on the beat:
It has a long instrumental intro and they don't start singing the 1st verse until about 2 mins in. There's also plenty of decay and delay effects used, especially on the sax part. The intro also has some percussion underneath the drum beat that i don't recall being in the other versions.
I wouldn't say that it has that unpolished "live" like feel that somebody talked about though
hope that helps :)
