    Disco Extravaganza

Has anyone heard Jimmy M's internet radio show "Disco Extravaganza"? It's quite good and Jimmy has a great laugh. :D

If you're talking about the shows you have to download, then, yes, I've heard it. And I'll admit, he sounded pretty sexy when he was playing La Pregunta "Shangri La" and saying, "Ooh, ahh, Shangri La, come on! Ain't this great (and then that laugh 8) ). Let's ride this to the end."

    Work me, boyfriend! :D

Well thank you all for the wonderful coments and feedback on the program, there will be alot more to come. Those who havent gotton it yet, this week's show is a special double edition which is in 2 parts. Part One is a nice blend of 80's and 70's dance classics and the 2nd part is the original planned show for the week. The programs change every Saturday. You can get the program by instaling the WINMX program and going into the chat section and finding the room that says 70's DISCO MUSIC. When you enter on the right hand side there will be a list of everyone in the room and my ID is clubdisco1979. Right click my ID and select browse and you can then choose your download speed (high or low) and the program will go in que for download. Look forward to next week's program everyone which I'm planning another double edition. One program dedicated to the 8th Floor disco in Philadelphia back in the day and the other will be dedicated to morning music of such places like Trocadero Transfer and in the style of Bobby Viteritti. Hope to have you all listening! :D

NickNack:(Quinny coughing out chocolate salty balls) Gotcha' :o
This sounds like the sort of DJ style that I adopted in most of the clubs I played. I'd like to hear a little, but don't have a sound card installed. Oh well, must go as I have some other Luddites to talk to.

Hey id in all honesty rather spin and not say a word :D Its much harder to host a show and make sure ya cue the records right and mix in on beat LOL. Wish it was like the old days where I could do some sets and send em to Bernie with the other DJ's and he could host the show LOL But oh well..those days are long gone..so I'll continue to spin and talk..yea...like...maybe its a new art form

For the "retarded" computer types like myself...

Could someone please list the steps involved in installing Winmix? Like where do I find it for starters???

    Duh.

    WINMX

    Hey Marky,
As Emeril says it's not rocket science.Simply go to a search engine like Google.Type in WinMX and it will pull up the WinMx website.Download the program and follow the instructions. If you have a high speed connection it shouldn't take more than a few minutes.

    Hey Marky,

    www.winmx.com

Thats where you go to download and instal the program :)

It will walk you through everything, dont worry about sharing files etc if your just wanting to hear the show. Earlier in this post are the instructions on how to find the "meeting place" for the show once you have Winmx.

    Hope to have ya listening!
