i just heard on the radio today that the family stone are trying to get back together without sly. not touring just making a new album in the studio.
should be interesting what type of material they will come up with.
supposedly sly is a recluse and wont come out of his purple haze.

I'd take a chance if they pull it off. Didn't Sly do a lot of the writing? Could be a little weak without him or they could step away from all the social conciousness and just get into the funk.

I remember reading a couple of years ago about some young tech-guy being approached -via phone- by Sly himself. He wanted this guy to make a website for him. The guy said he talked with him frequently and that he was a bit "spaced out, you know?" Don't know if the site is up and running...
