I came across an interesting tidbit last night in Dave Marsh's book about the 1,001 best rock/soul singles...
Who attempted to produce around 200 takes of Jefferson Airplane's "White Rabbit" before abandoning the project and starting their own band?
(BTW, Marvin Gaye's "I Hear It Through The Grapevine" was the choice as the #1 single of ALL TIME!!!!)
