Soul’s biggest lurrve man Barry White, still awaiting a kidney transplant operation, is recovering from what’s been described by his family as a minor stroke.

His daughter Shaherah White has said, “My dad had surgery May 1 to place a catheter in his arm. He had a stroke ... that affected his speech and the right side of his body, but he is in great spirits.”

The transplant operation has been put on hold until the singer is stabilized. “He’s had a minor setback, but have no fear, he’ll be fine,” Shaherah insisted. “He will definitely be performing again.”
