Sand Lane and Robin Road. Staten Island, New York Cathedrals got it's name because this joint was formally an old church. Cathedrals was a happening place on Staten Island that later changed hands to become Club Pegusus; which was owned by Tommy Billoti and run by Tony Gennero. Pegusus was then remodeled and opened up as Club Mirrors. As a matter of fact, I worked at both Clubs, and was involved with it's restoration and design. I also designed the logo for the place.The place used to get packed with a nice crowd; and featured a second bar that was built within a section of the building that was formally the round stone chapel of the church.Danny Pooch...
