Paramount
Bay Street - Stapleton, Staten Island, New York This was the old Paramount theather that was huge, and used the stage as a dance floor. This was more a new wave type club that featured some of the most popular bands of the day. Joan Jett, Blondie etc.... The Paramount was a fun place to go, but was prone to fights, due to the different crews of guys that would show up from the different neighbothoods of Staten Island and Brooklyn.
