According to a few comments on the above site, rumors fly around every year. Maybe this time it really is going to happen - I just checked the Panasonic Australia website under the DJ equipment section and no turntables.

Hmmm... interesting. If so, I guess I better go buy my second one before you can't get them anymore. But its funny that they decide to kill them off when I was in my local Future Shop (aka Best Buy) the other day and lo and behold what do I see but 3 inexpensive turntables and if I remember correctly, 2 of them were made by Sony. So if there was no demand for them, then why are they being made still. Or for that fact, why are they making USB versions too. I know a few people who want to buy a turntable, cause they still have records, but never can find them. It's like the cassette deck which is virtually non-existent here in Canada but in the U.S. you can still buy them.
