Zulema - Change
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cvWNe1807R8
I heard this old disco song --the female vocal chorus kept talking about change or changing. I asked some guy in the club and he couldnt remember but said it was a classic but a rare one. It was kinda midtempo and soulful, and went on for a while like it was a 12 inch mix it had a nice ecstatic groove to it, kinda funky but smooth. Can you help me find this ?Thanks!![]()

Thanks so much for the reply, that is a very cool song but its not the one I heard! This is more uptempo the other one was more groovy and chill. And the vocal wasnt as gospelly. I like this a lot though I just downloaded best of Zulema cause of it, but still can someone help me find the one I was looking for? Thanks
Or maybe....
Bionic Boogie - Risky Changes
There is also another song by Bionic Boogie called Chains (which may sound like "change")
Thank you but it is a less pumpin song and its a female vocal saying something like I feel a change or need a change or sumthin like that.
This is a post-disco song...
Inner Life - Let's Change It Up
Thats not it either... it definitely sounded like an earlier production, but this is closer to the vibe of it than anything so far. Thank You.
Wild guess--my first thought was Sharon Ridley's "Changin'"-- but maybe too mellow? Classic & VERY RARE back then.
Also covered back then by Esther Phillips and then totally remade in 2000 by Linda Clifford:

"Lost inside adorable illusion...."
The word CHANGE reminded me of three different songs:
1- "Change" by Lisa Stansfield
2- "Change of heart" by Cyndi Lauper and
3- "Change of heart" by Change.
Good luck!
Yes It Is Sharon Ridley "Changin"---THANK YOU!!!
Yes very nice! The version I heard was definitely the Sharon Ripley one....after listening to the other two I definitely think this is the definitive version...awesome! Tried to find an mp3 download to no avail .....
