Had this on a cassette in mid 70s (home made) with crown heights affair " dreaming a dream " original so that dates it . Lyrics I remember are
"when your life is full of trouble and your down can't find your way, I'll be there for you to lean on , ain't no price I won't pay , when you need me I'll come running , darlin you know I'll understand ........chorus goes " I'll be standing beside you when you need a helpin hand " and then goes something like " not so fast I'll be holding on "
