The only "Let me take you dancing" I know is the disco song of Bryan Adams. But as far as I know he's not a female.

Anyway if he is, he's not really my type :).

It probably is Bryan Adams. He sings (and swings) like a girl on it...sounds all of 12 years old. It's on Canadian A&M.
What would you do without your muesli...where would you be without a bowl?

He sounds like a girl because his voice was sped up for the disco remix. BTW, he has never allowed this to be reissued, and it is quite hard to find nowadays.

That's interesting. I wonder what the logic was behind that?

Isn't this amazing? I had a record store offer me big bucks for this back in the late 80's. Is it because it's Bryan or because Bryan doesn't want it out there? The song is so bubblegum it's almost laughable. The fact those fools pitched it up doesn't help. I still have my two 12"s so possibly one day when I'm destitute :( Bryan's song (oh, gawd, that was not intentional) will save my ass.

    hey nicknack,
i think the reason why its such an expensive record is because bryan adams doesn't want it reissued and because it is just one of those guilty pleasure songs that everybody taps their feet to everytime its on the radio.
the funny thing is, it's probably one of his most well known hits that alot of people don't know was sung by him.
anyway i would hold on those those copies of yours if i were you.

NickNack: You'd have to pitch it down a bundle, to hear Bryan Adam's voice as everyone has come to know it. I was amazed that it (almost) still works if you do pitch it way down.
It was John Luongo who was ultimately responsible for speeding it up, wasn't it?

At 135 bpm's you bet I would pitch it down. John Luongo does get credit for the remix. I wonder if it was he or the engineer he was working with that played this game?

I just don't buy it because the shipping costs for a 12" from US to Germany are quite expensive i think.
