Not too sure why you've broken the peace like this, Paul - you do realise that we'll now have to debate the validity of tambourines in disco music at length - and someone will have to die as a result. Why can't I shake my funky tambourine, eh?

There were tambourines in Disco music???
I used to enjoy shaking a tambourine and other percussion instruments, sometimes to relieve the boredom.
Out of all the instruments one could pick, why pick the tambourine? Jeez, this is difficult as I've never really consciously thought "wow, what great tambourine playing" when I've enthused about a track. Bloody hell, this has really screwed my brain. Aaaarrrggghhhh!!!! :o  :o
    For now I'll go with:
Gonzalez - Haven't Stopped Dancing Yet, as I used to have great difficulty playing along with it.

Here's some examples of tamborines that are turned up... that you can jam to.

Do It (Til you're Satisfied) - B.T. Express
    Peace Pipe - B.T. Express
I Got (So Much Trouble In My Mind) - Joe Quarterman
I Like To Do It - KC & The Sunshine Band
I'm Your Boogie Man - KC & The Sunshine Band

I've played around with the instrument before... It's HARD to keep up & be
    perfect

Must have a tambourine on Jimmy "Bo" Horne's "Gimme Some".
Ray Cooper shook unobtrusively a tambourine on Elton John's "Philadelphia Freedom".
