One of them should be "Got Myself Together" by The Bucketheads (AKA Kenny Dope) from 1995.

On the french label Versatile there's an house song by "Cheek Venus" called "Sunshine people" that sampled Brass Construction's "Happy people".

Well K-Bee figured out an important clue (correct) :D

I guess the challenge here is to listen to it :P :P

I've got my odds on who's gonna respond with the correct answer for the next two clues...

    2-1 K-Bee
    6-1 Forrrce
    10-1 Marky
    15-1 Nicknack
    25-1 Com King
100-1 Quinny (i can't remember if the song has strings)
    700-1 Paul

    good luck everyone....

I remember that the Masters at Work have sampled Brass Construction's"Movin" but I don't remember the title of the track.

    Could it be that one?

    OK....another shot from me then.

second song sampling "Movin" is DJ Quik's "Niggaz Still Trippin'" from his 1992 "Way 2 Fonky" album. Some would consider this a gangsta rap classic (not me though :-? )

Ok the track I was thinking about is nothing else that Bucketheads' "Got myself together" , remixed by the MAW.

    So I'm wrong again.

    But I'll come back :)

Last try : DJ sneak : higher

I just listened to it, and it's apparently sampling "Movin" too.

    If not, I resign :)

    Ok,

just thought i'd give some feedback.... OK... all I have to go by is a .mp3 but, it sounds like the main 12" mix.

The opening bar is nothing I was asking for.

    Here's your first Hint....

both samples happen before the "Movin" sample even begins.

What makes this song challenging is that the first sample is from 1971 .... and the next sample is from 1979.

I'll give an even bigger hint tomorrow....

Well, since nobody tried to guess again.... I might as well give out the answers...

    Sample 1: Melting Pot - Booker T. & The MG's (1971)

    Sample 2: Disco Nights - GQ (1979)

    Artist: Bucketheads
