    KTU DISCO BALL LAST NIGHT

    Anyone go to Disco Ball last night in Atlantic City?? It was sold out and really rocked!!

    France Joli tore the house down, she was incrdible she still sounded so good you would think it was the record playing.

    The Ritchie Family unfortunately it was not the First trio of the Ritchie family but the American Generation Ritchie Family and they were o.k. but sang along with the records.

    Evelyn King really rocked it too, she is great!

    Rose Royce was awesome, she even sang Wishing on A Star.

    Cathy Sledge was there without the other sisters but managed to perform really well without them.

    June and Bonnie pointer were there without the rest of the sisters and did a great job of Heaven Must have sent you and Jump.

    Thelma Houston made up another version of Don't Leave Me this way, don't they know already we want the original version????

    At the end of the show Joe Causi had one of the current Diva's "Reina" come out on stage and she started singing Last Dance and then all of the Diva's came out on stage and Joined her!

    It was a memorable show.

    Disco Tony;

    Did you notice if the event was taped? Do you think that the Disco Ball would ever find its way to DVD? I don't know if one of the emcees mentioned something to this effect...but what good news that would be!

    Yes

    There was a cameraman on the stage taping the show. They did not say whether or not it would be on DVD but it would be nice if it was, I would get a copy for myself.

    was this the original lead singer? I saw Rose Royce back in '98... and they had another girl singing lead.

    Yes it was

    This was definetly the original Rose Royce, she sounded so much like her record you could not mistake her for not being the original. Also Joe Causi introduced her as Rose Royce.
