Hi all !
Last night I was in a night club playing disco and at a moment the DJ played a huge track that sounded typically produced by Leroy Burgess. I thought it might be a track from Logg that I didn't know, but I'm pretty shure I heard it already before.
The drums and percussion in the intro sounds like a bit "Something Else", same kind of percussion (triangle and congas, but faster played, more complexe pattern and heavily compressed). Then a huge slapped bass comes, making a very catchy groove (melody and rythmic have a similar progression than the bass on "I know you will") and then we can hear Leroy Burgess singing and a few Patrick Adams-like funky synth riff and touch.
When back home I checked all the Logg tracks I had, but it wasn't that. So I checked all the Fantastic Aleems tracks as well and Convertion, but that wasn't it.
I am pretty sure to have heard it already before. Do someone have any idea of what track it could be?
I was thinking if it could be a special edit or an original remix of "I know you will' maybe, but without the big tom sound break and without the piano riff...
Or maybe something released under another name than Logg, Convertion or the Aleems? Or maybe a track that have been produced in a Leroy Burgess style, but by someone else.. ?
Thanks very much for your help!!
Cheers
