Four songs from the good ol' times of R&B. Please, help me!

Dear friends,

I've been away for long time, but I'm glad to be here again, this time with four R&B songs from the 80's asking for help from the experts.

I was checking some old tapes I recorded from FM stations in the 80's, with R&B songs, a very popular style here in Rio de Janeiro in that time, when some DJ's used to travel to US to bring some records, specially hits of WBLS radio station. I was successful on identify a few songs, checking the lyrics on Google, others not 'cause, if sometimes is difficult for a native speaker of English to understand perfectly every word of a song, imagine for someone who's not.

I tried to record four of them with my MP3 player. The audio is low, please, turn your volume up (head phones will be useful).

Too sad that the sound quality is so bad but "Unknown song #1" is Sherrick "Tell Me What Is ".

I`m pretty sure that "Unknown song #2" is Millie Scott " I Can Make It Good For You ".

And finally "Unknown song #3" is The Mac Band "Stalemate" from 1990.

Oh windjammer, thanks A LOT for your assistance. You got it right with the #1 and #3, but unfortunately the second song isn't "I Can Make It Good For You", I just checked on YouTube. :(
