near Santa Monica Blvd./Doneny, West Los Angeles, CA., USA Paradise Ballroom featured several unique rooms, including one with cut-outs in the walls, a patron could easily climb through to sit/lounge/ETC. on A MATTRESS! The lighting on the ceiling in the main bar were OPTIC THREADS, emitting light just from the tip, like those goofy 'tree" sculptured table lamps on those days... Paradise Ballroom was in an old 2-story warehouse, with a grand entrance, with an awning over the front door area, and with RED CARPET there? Painted dark purple outside; sometimes it was PACKED, and other times lacked FUN, because no one came!.. the other main feature was that it had a large room...
