Thank you for the email. I appreciate your support. You have all the right in the world to speak your peace anyway you want. I do not need to put any words in your mouth (like Mr.Zoeli tried to infer in his email to me) ... these are coming from your heart. I can tell. You are serious!



You have paid your dues to the disco dance music business .. that is for sure ... so you have earned the right to respond to the attack made against you. Welcome to the group!



If people do not stand up for their rights ... then the rights just disappear! If no one cares for injustice then injustice will rule. I know I do not have to tell you ... you've actually lived in a country that denied its citizens any rights at all ... even RELIGIOUS freedoms!



Please remember ... I did not START this fight. When the word "disco" was used against me ... that was the only time I spoke up. I do not know what went on behind the scenes at WMC headquarters.



I thank you again for standing beside me on this effort. I know it will fade away and many will pretend it never really happened but .. I am proud of you for taking your own stand and speaking from your heart.



If people in the music business have a problem with profanity and vulgarity.. all they have to do is turn on one of those 'gangster rap' songs they are making all that money off of.. and turn around that finger they are pointing at you and point every finger on both of their hands back at themselves. What a joke! Hypocrites!

Reading your article made me think of a few things.



First, you compare your situation to the "plight" of Afghani women and the way Jews were blacklisted during the McCarthy era. I get a big laugh out of people who compare whatever brick walls they are heading into to the "Taliban". But I notice that the people who are saying it are of the liberal and conservative-minded persuasion. Well after all, we have liberals to thank for many of our social ills, such as "multiculturalism", Aids, "gay rights", etc. As for conservatives, they have given us phony images of "patriotism" when they, just like the liberals, want to suppress any one who doesn't agree with their agenda. Tasting one's own medicine must be brutal, eh??



Second, you also compared your plight to the way the Jews were treated during the McCarthy era. Should it come as any surprise that Jews were so instrumental in infiltrating Communism in Hollywood, making films that only showed what THEY wanted people to be exposed to?? It's even worse today, with filmmakers like Steven Spielberg letting their agendas seep through their films.



Classic disco music should have a place at the WMC, but I have to agree with the higher-ups in it that "disco" is a dated term and to think that it holds the same as it did more than 20 years ago is wishful thinking.

Your letter Mr. Zeoli sounds like letter of blind fanatic. Relax and try understand, please. WMC assholes hurt Marty Angelo very MUCH (!!!) - RIGHT(?) - by the way they hurt me - an very disco pioneer same but not so great as Marty is. I dedicated my LIFE for DISCO years ago (1970) and I'm still in this changed by years business. If they ignore DISCO PIONEERS in the USA, it means for me they ignore all the DISCO PIONEERS all over the world. They call against us kind of WAR !

Now about what you hurt(?) so much - my vulgar(?) words used against vulgar(!) actions.

There is many cases in the human history when people talk / say clean language but result hurt, turn on vulgar and harsh to someone or many. When I see VULGAR / HARSH action to someone then I react same way - I mean WMC did VULGAR / HARSH action against Marty Angelo because they are organisers - then my answer was same vulgar / harsh but words only because I'm writer.

I wrote and publish a lot of articles and some of them are poetic, some of them are vulgar - depends of story.

I would love to visit WMC and tell thm face to face they are very wrong if they treat sooo VULGAR / HARSH way DISCO PIONEERS - BUT - I can not visit.



First reason is - there still exist stupid / burocratic american law against poles which not allow me to get your visa simple, easy and fast way like for example I can get Europe.



Second reason is - plane cost are "over imagination / dreams". These prices are ten times more money for me (compare to incomes) than for you. All because of economic differences.



Third reason is - life went such way for me (THANKS GOD) I have 25 years younger second wife and 15 months young son and I have to care for him all day long. You know - feed him, change **** dipers etc.- REAL LIFE !

I'm simply Mr. MOM now and can not leave my house.

As you see my visit is not so easy at all.

I appreciate your passion for dance music, disco specfically. I see

your credentials and I respect them.



I defended Frank Ceraolo because no one has the right to diminish

another human being with such vulgar and harsh language. In the

scheme of things, all Mr. Ceraolo did was make a decision based on

the facts he had at hand about an insignificant dance music panel, he

did not kill someone. This is not a communist dictatorship, this is

not a war, it's a dance music panel at a small conference that means

nothing compared to world hunger, poverty, war and any other social

ailment I can think of.



You have every right to speak your opinion, but you have done so in

clearly angry and injust way. I suggest you apologize for your

language, and only then will I ever take you seriously. You have no

right to send such harsh and vulgar comments to my email inbox about

anyone I know. I did not ask for your opinion in your open letter,

nor do I want it now, which is why I was so shocked to have received

such an email.



Having never been to a Winter Music Conference I find it hard to

believe you have such a strong opinion about something you've never

been involved in. If you have so much experience, then get on a plane

and go state your case. They have microphones and I'm sure we'll be

Do you see world leaders swearing at each other on TV? I didn't think so.



Keeping a level head while making your case goes a long way, I

suggest you tone down your language and be firm but polite. That

might get you somewhere in the future. I know in my book, you've

burned a huge bridge that you may never be able to rebuild.
