Thumbs up Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes - Black & Blue!

    Hi guys:

While checking at http://www.amazon.uk I found out that Big Break Records is releasing the Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes - Black & Blue album.

The disk is fully remastered and even expanded.

I just ordered mine here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B...IN=B003WG31YG/

Unfortunately no additional information is available at Big Break Records at http://www.cherryred.co.uk/bbr/index.php

    Cheers,

    Hessel.

    Hi guys:

Big Break Records has just updated the information about this release.

Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes

    Black & Blue - CDBBR0013

PREORDER NOW! Released on 13/09/10. Black & Blue was Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes second Philadelphia International album, released in 1973. The album features the lead vocals of Teddy Pendergrass and the classic Philly production of Kenny Gamble & Leon Huff.

Featured are the full length versions of Philly anthems THE LOVE I LOST (#1 R&B) and SATISFACTION GUARANTEED (#6 R&B). BBR introduce the first ever re-master of this album on CD and Black & Blue is regarded as one of the great Philly Soul albums ever produced. Liner notes include a detailed interview about the sessions with Bobby Eli.

Cabaret / The Love I Lost / It All Depends On You / Concentrate On Me / Satisfaction Guaranteed (Or Take Your Love Back) / Is There A Place For Me / I’m Weak For You / I’m Comin Home Tomorrow / Bonus Tracks - The Love I Lost (Part 1) (Single Version) / I’m Weak For You (Single Version)

I hope a "war loudness" doesn't occur during the remastering.
